Why Resilience Tools are Key to Conquering Anxiety

In life, things can get overwhelming, and it's easy to get lost in other people's issues or to avoid dealing with our emotions. However, life keeps happening, and curveballs keep coming, making it essential to find resilience tools that can help us navigate through difficult times. The relevance of resilience tools cannot be overstated because they enable us to find joy, peace, and presence in mundane moments despite life's challenges.
Resilience tools help us flex the muscle of our minds, enabling us to re-regulate our bodies when we need it. This way, our nervous system can work in a balanced, neutral, or even coherent state, allowing things to flow better. Even when things go wrong throughout the day, like getting stuck in traffic, having a child who needs you while at work, or running late for an appointment, you can maintain resilience and stay within your window of tolerance.
Resilience is not about never getting stressed, but rather acknowledging when the resilience signal goes off in your body, and then bringing your body back to balance. Resilience tools are the ways, strategies, tips, or tricks that enable us to get back to balance when we need it.
In addition to the stressors of everyday life as a business owner and mom, I recently have been dealing with several health issues in my family. In the past, I would have gone into helper mode, trying to fix everything and feeling frustrated when I couldn't control the situation. However, with resilience tools, I have been able to ground myself, make informed decisions, prioritize self-care, and set boundaries without taking on what is not mine to take on.
In conclusion, having resilience tools is crucial in leaving anxiousness behind, enabling us to find joy and peace even in challenging moments. By acknowledging our stress signals and using resilience tools to bring our bodies back to balance, we can navigate life's challenges with ease.
